Not surprised with Iran situation

These long months of protests in Iran are not surprising to me, however what is surprising is how Iran still looks the most stable country in that region and how, culturally, women seem so emancipated and in full force exercising their rights, eg divorce proceedings after evidence of infertility on the part of the husband.

I posted a few feedback requests a few months ago in the most followed Iranian pages and communities and not a soul replied so I am assuming that I don't know what I am actually talking about when it comes to their country. Here are the pages I posted a feedback request,
