Hair care , Coming later today, full scanned issue available here!

 Dear followers,

In my next blog post I will feature the  Crochet and Tatting Book -Number 1- by Anna Valeirie ! Early 1900's and rare , so rejoice!

Now, if you are a fan or a follower can you please put a word on my behalf with BELLA ONLINE - THE VOICE OF WOMEN- so as Anna Valerie book Number 1 uploaded via our blog features in their list? If so here is the list . The name of the editor is Mrs Georgia Seitz.

Let me upload the issue first via issuu, which will be in a couple of hours as must blow dry my hair first. ;) My blow dry actually consists of endless snap on head rollers prior to the hair  heat dis-treatment/mistreatment/frying up/drying etc.

There is no point making suggestions as to what regards my hair. I was suggested relaxing, texturizing, yet I can honestly say that blow drying is part of the process for me as to dry the hair and using snap on curlers gives me a bit of volume.

Most women on social media with curled hair tend to promote curl activators, however that is not my case, as I used it before and the volume produced is not worst the hair dryness .

What I do is to wash with shampoo and conditioner, 2 in 1 , then use mask in one week, give a rest the following week and dry my hair .

Once is dry I apply coconut oil to the ends, I use Palmers but would rather use olive oil in my ends as it does not smell and the hair looks clean throughout the week. If the hair looks dull mid week I spray dry shampoo. I love Baptiste dry shampoo, the mini version does the job so well as it lasts months and blends in the hair.

The last hairdresser I visited , three years ago it was, told me to wash and dry my hair 15 in 15 days but to be honest that would be the case if I was using hair straighteners or Brazilian blow dry. Snap on head rollers are healthier and chemical free!

I find that head rollers protect the hair through the drying process and so does low heat. Is just me! Of course that when the summer is here I would rather dry the hair naturally when I am out and about .If that is the case, my hair wash day will fall on a Monday , presently my hair wash day falls on a Sunday ,but last Sunday I was under the weather. Hence why today, Wednesday, is my hair wash day.

Wish when I was younger I knew the dangers of perfume, leave in conditioner, cremes, gels, holding sprays, etc in what regards contributing to women cancer. Would never have been in my previous list of products.

Call it old school but Annie head rollers and low heat in a weekly basis still does it for me in a very polluted city as London where invariably  washing the hair is washing the pollution off the capillaries.

What about you, how old school are you when it comes to drying your hair and keeping colds away?

Best wishes,

Ariane
