Textures blending in perfectly with ornamental thread work

 

Another GS handbag is coming to last stage of production as I am now locker hooking .

I am using the most traditional primitive methods and hooks for locker hooking, in particular using fabric, instead of the modern use of yarn,  to lock the stitches in place.

The choice of colour fast yarn really paid off as the neighbouring  pink DMC Natura XL yarn acquired purple tones of different consistency without compromising the texture of the fabric. 

Though different texture to the mesh  yarn and embroidery threads, as the fabric locker hooked is stretchable, all elements are blended in harmony.

I am really proud to finally  take the locker hooking to 100 per cent primitive in terms of materials and technique.
