Welcome to Ariane Brito Crafts Blog!
Thank you for visiting my blog dedicated to crafts, crafts book reviews and a bit about me.
My name is Ariane Brito, a crafter, writer, historian by vocation and not by the fact that I graduated with a History B.A. (Hons) in 2006 from the University of West of England.
I was fortunate enough to have studied for three years and graduated from the now closed St Matthias Campus. To my understanding the campus closed and the Humanities Faculty moved to a different campus.
One year later, in 2007 I had my eldest son with my ex partner with whom I had two boys.
I have two boys but I might be having more in the next year or so.
We have much going on in Ariane Crafts Blog, a few Crafts Bulletins, a Virtual Gallery, Crafts donations and new projects, but all this is done in my spare time as my autistic son care , home schooling two boys, campaigning for my Humanitarian Cov-19 campaign and looking after the family home ( chores etc) takes a lot of time as well.
What I most enjoy about being a crafter is that I get to explore new textiles , new yarn dying processes, create new items and reproduce Victorian crafts. I also upload magazines and journals with over 100 years old and share them online. In my spare time I review books by other crafters.
Hello!!!
Stay tuned,
Ariane Brito
