Sweet Potato Comfort Pie: 7th Annual Martin Luther King Service Holiday Sweet Potato Comfort Pie: A Catalyst for Caring and Building Community

Today I am attending a series of zoom workshops and community talks related to the Sweet Potato Comfort Pie Celebration to mark Martin Luther King holiday.

I rushed down the shops to get the sweet potatoes as I don't usually buy so as  to avoid sugar

Once I got the basic ingredients to start the Comfort Pie, I decided to use very little sugar and vegetarian butter

I followed the recipe given by the organizer of the event,

But the organizer is selling the pies, I am not! I decided to chose a shape to celebrate the meaning of MLK holiday so I went for the Liberty Bell . As I do not own a tin shaped bell, I used tin foil ,

And finally, I put it in a cake box just like if I was there and going to the event myself,

Here are the instructions to join online

We are excited to see you at tomorrow's 7th Annual Martin Luther King program co-hosted by Sweet Potato Comfort Pie and Breck School. The program will start at 2:00 PM.

How to login to the Program on Sunday January 17th

 Great Sunday and MLK celebrations!

Best wishes,

Ariane
