My first handmade Family Heritage Clay Baking Dish

To make this two Family Heritage Clay baking trays I used one fifth of Scola Reinforced Air Drying Clay . I purchased it back in 2019 and this leftover was hard as a rock so it took me a few days to get it soft.

I now have some leftover in the fridge for a flower vase, what will come handy as my son broke a two arm vase I had in the living room. Accidents happen , what matters is that we can make things out of love like little items that will save us money and don't matter so much when these type of accidents matter.

If you want to give it a try at making your own roasters, vases, cups etc here are the details of the clay I used to the make my two Family Heritage Clay Baking Dish.

Because of my severe asthma I only put it in a pre heated oven over night but will air dry during a few days.

Perhaps one day I will make an Emile Henry Baking tray but for now is just me Ariane!

Best wishes,

Ariane Crafts
