Today I bring you 

SYLVIA'S BOOK OF MACRAME AND LACE  

 This book published 1882 is a true relic which I worship and want to share with you because although its not available for sale , it has been digitised and is available for free via the Smithsonian Library .

The version available via the Smithsonian e-Library dates 1890, while my book dates 1882. Here are the pictures of the book  and bear in mind that the book is almost a century and a half.

I would recommend you the projects on page 349 " Towels with Fringe" as it comes with embroidery patterns as well , what is a real plus. What about the bags? Wow, just wow!
